Yet I must admit that I waited 100 pages (about ...) to be sure not to let go of reading; because the style is not everything, and if history 1 was simple but captivating, 2 and the beginning of her mystical considerations around the character of Ash left little hope for the future. But events will disrupt the well-ordered life of our (new) heroes, and restart the pace and context of the plot. We return later to what makes the strength of this trilogy: the world of post-apocalyptic rivalry whose hatred of crystallisation now a common center.
I do not know if the last volume will complete all within the rules, finally closing the story (I hate open ends where some see opportunity to imagine a thousand future, but I rather the author of resignation to find an acceptable and practical end) or if I stay on my hunger!; but for now this trilogy so pleasant bed even without revolutionizing the genre. Again, style far outweighs the narrative, but the two are balanced a little better in this volume.
