I was due to the color very tasteful designs very impressed by the new Moulinette Plus, also promised the manufacturer Moulinex a good gut feeling was it me since the childhood a term.
The device itself is very small and convenient and takes on my kitchen countertop small footprint. Ever very good conditions for everyday use on the stove. The handling of Moulinette is but to say the least in my eyes a disaster. The knife sits independently of the food to be processed partly so firmly in the catch that one already there feeling has to have to take by force in mind. You then missed the right moment so but flying the processed food across the worktop as it happened to me in any case several times. I pushed the problem first on the machine is the new, so changed even after nearly 4 weeks of use, not a lot of the problems that I sometimes raubte- last nerve because what use to me crushed onions, nuts, seeds and herbs which are not promptly come into my food because the knife stuck? Not exactly.
Then I can also better cut by hand and run no risk that my food overcooked. In addition, I have much more quickly a knife and a cutting board cleaned as this Moulinette. Powerful is the Moulinette, but it does not manage the whole estate to crush evenly. Often remain more times greater or even very small pieces exceeded as tested with nuts, fruit, vegetables, seeds, and even dry dog food. None of the food had been crushed uniform throughout on size. Why? I do not know!
But I did not give up and tried as an accessory to the Order does not belong by default to this model a mixer attachment. A call to the company SEB with the corresponding item number of the machine brought to light that the original article was not available (why? The device is only just new on the market!) We could send a replacement would of course also fit me but. Well, if this fits well because we take. Of course, the article did not fit - after another rather unfriendly phone call to the service center of the paper went back to the company SEB and they promised me the invoice amount of rich 38 euros (10 euros postage alone !!) to be paid back. 14 working days after the company had received my return, I still had no money back so I could cancel the reservation by the Bank! Astrein beside the customer service of the company SEB unfriendly, uninformed and slow because availed also the response of the Head of Department on my complaint, nothing save what was beyond redemption.
CONCLUSION:
So it was in the frustrating experience with the Moulinette. The cutting blade shows today after four weeks test run with not even daily use clear signs of wear (blunt point) which can by no means come from small stock to hard.
My experience with the service center cause I'm going to order a replacement knife, but simply packed the Moulinette again put in the closet and will promote only the occasional unavoidable use to day.
Instead, I have again my beloved cutting board and knife set my Makashi in their place, I can also recommend every ambitious chef. Due to the significant weaknesses, the absolutely not recommended Customer Service unfortunately only 2 out of 5 stars and no recommendation to buy from me even if Moulinex draufsteht!
