The book starts by providing a typology of cons on the basis of their greater or lesser power to harm. It continues with five parts, which are as many strategies for action: dealing with idiots, choose to avoid the idiots, idiots choose to fight, subdue the idiots. Each section provides the key to change, the reasons for change and development action. The main interest of the book, I think, compared to others on the same subject - it's amazing what the idiots can write! To believe that they multiply :-) - is that it invites to focus on oneself. Basically, these are not the idiots that are interesting, says the author, it is our reactions, what idiots we learn about ourselves, our fears, our unmet needs. And in this, the cons - and therefore the book - are very useful. The author provides us many tools for this, drawing on his experience as a coach: nonviolent communication, strategy allies process communication, ESPERE method, MBSR. A useful and necessary book for all who cross idiots are em ... by them, and sometimes are themselves. In short, a lot of people :-)
