5. Update (March / 2015)
Big disappointment! The loudspeaker control and handsfree talking does not work anymore. The call at Bose showed warranty expires, repair is not possible, 156.45 are gone. That is bitter, I expected more than that these things shortly after the warranty conk. Until then, they were the best sports headphones that I had. Will they likely to buy again, but only have time anger and disappointment ebb ......
Too bad ....

4.Aktualisierung (June / 2013):

Another marathon and the training behind me before and I'm saying: I have no better sport running headphone been found. Two tips even for cross-country skiers: If you're like me go with the iPhone 4s, then goes sometime the battery to run out. Here I recommend the battery case from Hama MiLi. Is there also here at Amazon. The part is high quality and has enormous power, disadvantage: something hard. So nothing for the arm pocket, so I run. With the hip neoprene pouch of iFitness Since the iPhone is safely stowed and myself noticed it while running (with the extension) can not remember very well hear music and can telephone if required .....
Disadvantage, not look at the display possible, but the basic control on the headphone remote control and Siri hands me personally (I want and is supposed to run ....)

3.Update (March / 2013):

It lasts and lasts and lasts ... and now he sounds even better: I recommend the free app "Denon audio" for iPhone. This can be on the home easily bass, mid tones and treble to your own taste adapt. Try and I repeat you: I have never regretted buying the headphones for a minute !!

2. Update (November / 2012):
Now in continuous use and after continuous rain, there was a defect. The volume suddenly greatly increased and could no longer be down regulated with the remote control. Set was converted easily from Bose (Amazon will make, I had the earphones directly from Bose, because it gave them yet on Amazon). Still further 5 star, I do not have regretted the day (expensive) purchase and even after hundreds kilometers they are not even slipped out of your ear!

UPDATED !!: Equal first after weeks of daily use, Marathon etc .... THIS HEADPHONES are designed for athletes !! And only in this capacity I have to review! For me there is still nothing better on the market. All those who criticize the sound, but all write .... "the seat is perfect ..."
For me this is the ultimate in racing !!! And the sound is (with loudness on the iPhone 4S) really better than anything I had previously. So again:
For sound gourmets, there will be better for athletes, I think currently not !!!

GENERAL
As one of the first I got this Bose earphones for athletes and am thrilled! I also have the yes well known and here at Amazon rated Bose MIE2 and can only say, now have athletes (I am long distance runner) finally the right equipment, which is simply the best ever compromise between quality and function. Unlike MIE2 the system were more stable designed simply to make the plug on the cable, the remote control, until the heart, headphones, which are now of a water / sweat repellent material and a very, very high-quality impression. I was for many years in search of the ultimate sports earphones and these are they !! Up again better hits the market ...)

PRICE
Schweineteuer, that's clear, but I have several headphones lying in my drawer, all between 20, - and 50, - Euro, have therefore at least so much already invested in unsatisfactory parts, as now in the Bose, but the part is flat perfect and so well worth in the long run the investment!

PRACTICE
-noch The most important thing for me in front of the sound - was / is the non-slip fit and comfort. Here Bose has been the measure of all things! As with MIE2 sits patienterte Bose system firmly and yet so slight (are not in-ear plugs!) Ear that you hinfasst often in the beginning, if they sit at all. Previously, these plugs are never fell out even after hours and hard use! Since I could no matter how much sweat or in the pouring rain, hold and can not be felt and keep the perfect sound. So you can sit on the ear and are not reingepopelt. I like that because it is so very easy and I still what mitbekomme of the environment (cars, tractors !!) The pack contains three different silicone wings in S, M and L. are factory the L plan and fit me perfect. But try the sizes worth and is easy to make. Since I unfortunately have to be reachable by phone while running, this function was also important. The technique here is the same as the MIE2, but the remote control is even more stable, without the operation has suffered, on the contrary. It takes even better way, pressing and the conversation is there. In perfect voice quality, as one would expect from Bose. Unlike the built-in micro MIE2 the windscreen was here but apparently still missing, which further increases the comprehensibility of the caller. My interlocutors were certainly been surprised when I said that I'm jogging and call on Headphone. Call Swap, etc. is all standard, as of course the music service, such as pause, next song, previous, fast forward, rewind, it all goes to the small portion, really impressive, like the sound.

SOUND
As I wrote, the fit and the perfect seat for me was first important to the sound then took me almost off the road !! But Bose can expect that. But what the get out of these small buttons, is absolutely worth hearing. I am now no Acousticians and sound engineer, gourmets raise the grandiose center frequencies out and want any more pounding bass (but need volume or, where will it come from ??) So for me as a normal handset, but certainly from classical to dance (running) has a wide range, the sound is simply hammermäßig and so far unsurpassed. Even the bass!

ACCESSORIES
As it is written, there are three different sizes of ear wings. Plus an extension cord for those (like me) who do not want to run with iPhone on the upper arm, but have a small bag with belt. Exclusive to Reebok Bose has just developed a Oberamrtasche. The touch screen can be operated using the protective cover, the size is for iPhones, iPods but apparently made other mobiles. On the back of the bag is still a key pocket and a Velcro that holds the headset after exercise. As I said, the comfort and the meaningfulness I can not write anything because I do not use it and the iPhone 4s think this is too heavy on the arm in order to run Marathon (in neoprene pouch around the waist you can feel it on the other hand not).

CONCLUSION
Athletes of all disciplines, rejoice !! Those things are the best thing is for activities in the market. Comfortable, absolutely secure hold, premium quality and a sound that leaves nothing to be desired really. At the latest after the first one hundred meters in the ear goes even hell pain of pigs expensive purchase price. But I repeat myself: was bought cheaply with me so far much more expensive !!! Have fun with it and just buy it!

ADDENDUM TO COST REDUCTIONS
