If you are interested in this app, you even look at the detailed video, which is available in the App Store, here absolutely everything is explained in great detail (duration, about 6 minutes).
(+) The application is very easy to handle, both high and cross-kant.
(+) There are app-internal contents that are available even without access to the Internet ...
(+) ... As well as additional information which is * within * the app opens, but for which an Internet access is needed. (It is accessed Wikipedia)
(+) The (externally accessed) information but you can not open in a separate browser, but very cleverly integrated into the app.

* E-numbers Search:
You tap on the e-number and receive short, concise information to (additive name, category, and health information). Further specifications are possible, this will be (as mentioned) Wikipedia open (which you then you definitely need Internet).
(+/-) Happy I'm not with these E numbers search, I must confess, because what you get here is very scarce. (On what sources the information is based, is not mentioned. I bet on Wikipedia ...?)

* Calorie charts:
There is a good basis for food, yet each according to groups (meat, milk and cheese, pasta and cereal, ice cream, nuts & seeds ...) are divided. This grouping seems a little getting used to (for my discretion a bit arbitrary), but you get used to it. (If you have ever searched the WWW for more calorie charts, which is well known.)
(+) [I have to correct here] Any food there - if typed on it - Detailed information about KH, BE, diverse Glyx factors, dietary fiber, fat, sugar, ...

* Fiber-information
Here you can specify how much fiber the listed foods has, divided into soluble and insoluble fiber (and total).

[Apart from the listed food (in any division) can inflict foods. You then have the option to use these data only for themselves, or transfer them to a database.
As I understand it, this could be a sort of food-Wiki. Here, then, the content (content of the database) is also created by users (with), which implies that such content be checked by someone / verified (what is also pointed out in a popup window!). Whether or how that happens defies currently still my knowledge. (Will give this on occasion when my previously made entries included in the database.)]

* Minerals database / * Vitamin directory

The images would be able to save about 50% in my estimation. The appearance (image) of chervil is completely wrong (I suspect tarragon). For the mapping of tarragon could pass as rosemary. The woodruff blossoms in the picture - then you should no longer use it. Even worse! Using is also written by the flower to Maibowle "- na congratulations This is at best a headache ...!
Sorrel --- the imaged sheets could be just about anything, as mugwort also a layman can quite unclear. When a burnet flower ??? I was just euphoric, then I was angry, because I have been wanting to food Detailed information - until I finally figured out that all Indeed rooms (detailed) information on foods / ingredients are present. (If there is only too easy to find ...)
The search for E-numbers seems to me useful function, which I personally with the (scarce) information which then appear not really know much to begin.

The handling of the app is pretty simple interface looks tidy.

I have thought long about 3-4 stars - see my review (despite many gripe) as positive; mainly because of the purchase price is to be regarded as no brainer and the app is in German (there are already a lot of apps in this regard, in the English language and with more questionable permissions ...)
So, 4 stars.
