Aside from questionable quality of LogiLink UA0156, on the other reviewers here have already received, I would choose a different way to accomplish the task of digitizing. One needs this but only a PC line-in jack (light blue jack), a (professional) tape deck with line-out output and a suitable connecting cable. Together with the extremely good free software Audacity, which gives it free for Linux and now even for Windows, has together with the tools to create pretty quality MP3 files from the contents of his cassettes (an amplifier is not needed for this purpose by the way). How it works in detail - Notes to dowries and Normalizing a recording included - explains instructions on the website of the Audacity project.
A note on recording quality LogiLink UA0156: I have found in the product description no information about the supported versions of Dolby LogiLink UA0156. Without (proper) Dolby support, it is with such a device, but not possible to digitize audio material with Dolby appropriate.
Conclusion: The money is better invested in a (used) Tape Deck with RCA / jack cable. Both there's (sometimes) even at Amazon ;-)
