Now to this little marvel.
Cam comes with the listed in the product description accessories. The packaging looks enhanced by the slip again. Everything is finely packed in individual bags. The scope of supply can be so relatively simple check for completeness.
Settings:
Before switching on I let the internal Accu recharge via car Zigarettenanünder. Just turn it on without a memory card, and wait. So takes about 1 hour. So I could be sure that the device does not switch off itself over and over again while using the setup menus.
Now hold the round power button and keep it pressed until the device is activated.
The device has a small, low-resolution display but does not bother me further.
Lt. Manual, which I had charged me from the homepage of Fa. Adam down (including the attached though the same content is printed but unfortunately too small) I am by pressing the arrow up button in the camera menu landed.
My changes are limited. Video resolution at FullHD with 45 B / sec, G-sensor 3G, display all drive-related data into the video incl. License plate. That's it.
In particular, the recording time I have left on the recommended short 1 minute. And for good reason! More on that later under the view records.
Mounting in the car:
Relatively easy! The GPS receiver, who is also the connection to the power supply as well as a holder for the camera itself glued by means of the four enclosed double-sided adhesive 3M pads right next to the interior mirror holder. Please previously clean the disc, at least at this small place, with plenty of alcohol. Then it is fixed is fixed! Once pressed goes there's nothing left to move or change in position of the base. In one of the reviews I've read, the base would supposedly solve again and drop the whole thing. This may not at all confirm from my own experience. Maybe if the windscreen of nicotine or exhalations of plastic paneling is dirty. Therefore, clean them beforehand!

The camera is from the outside in a dark interior virtually invisible!
Test Drive:
The first test drive was the recording to my place of work in the early morning. Then the same evening back home.
Then still a short drive to the nearby industrial park to do around the shopping. The first motorists drove here already with light.
In order to make a reasonable assessment of the recording quality in the dark can make a journey through the night. By lit streets and on an unlit highway.
By mounting the right of the mirror I get the flashing of the red and blue LED not with. Also, the screen turns off after 15 seconds. Nothing distracts me while driving!
First-time video analysis or view on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 PC:
Removed the memory card from the camera and put the adapter in the delivery of the device into a USB connector.
Located on the map next to the video list a few others. In one is the so-called player, which starts without installation.
After starting the I slipped a little facial features! Long reading time and the start of the video the playback stop repeatedly and last but not least the program crashes without feedback from (Windows reports "No reply" ?!).
So loaded the alternative player from the Support page of the Fa. Adam down. Again, no installation is necessary.
It is a simple EXE file that needs to be but classified as trustworthy when you first start, because the firewall and the antivirus software to have your say. Do not worry, a scan of the file revealed no surprise! Nix viruses or trojans etc.
This player "dashcam viewer" reading but also solved the playback of recordings very comfortable.
Also there is here, among other things, a display of the G-forces in 4 directions! Important in the question of whether the vehicle was actually delayed speak braked.
Below are a lot of relevant information to reputable video here. The resolution can be changed by double-clicking on Full Screen. Here then only the actual field of view of captured Cam incl. The preset "stamp" is displayed. Also super slow-motion or ultra fast playback is possible. Likewise, take a picture from the video out. The quality of the recordings, the sound of, the days are in FullHD truly amazing. License plate, road markings or signs are clearly legible. Slow Motion at oncoming traffic will also show any attributes and then as "proof" of a video picture.
Shooting at night I find in the number of pixels the camera amazingly good to very good. Good for overland travel and very well lit at downtown streets. Perhaps here also the enclosed pole filter plays a decisive role. Reflections are really well hidden.
For this filter, a word, here a little to be "played". The perfect setting, the same applies to day and night, there is not. I knew, however, previously, as I with my DSLR in certain situations such use.
The recorded sound is clear and even opening the side window or switching operations can be heard. Schicker side effect, if someone takes a ride through a scenic area, a CD in and the video is also provided with the same music. Or some remarks during recording scenery etc. and you have a travel video.
Now I would like to address the issue of "recording time" in the camera menu. Depending on the selected setting large files are stored on the memory card accordingly. The shorter the selected time interval the more small files are written or stored. In a deflated Accu it might happen that the last record can no longer be saved. Without electricity no save.
At a preset interval I would actually lost in such a case, the latest complete sequence. The longer this interval is set, the higher the loss of data! Is no different on the PC, I edit an Excel file and someone pulls the PC plug from the wall. Result; All data that have not been stored in between are gone! What has not been saved, I can not look at, let alone evaluate and after restoring the power to the storage area is overwritten.
The video is not played in so z. B. a minute sequences, but always as a whole.
For this reason, I have the basic setting (see remark in paragraph setting) left for the video sequence in 1 minute!
Now even the tiresome subject GPS signals. I had only a 3-minute z. T. discontinuous with the first drive (lt. Video analysis) GPS data recording. This time has, however, set to last 20 seconds. The geo data the satellite has the small receiver apparently noticed (see the theme of GPS almanac). Also, the GPS has become very accurate and just the speed is very very precisely recorded.
We have the compromise to our car a windscreen heater (fine wires) where the GPS signal in any way!
That's exactly what I expect from a high-priced dashcam!
At the moment, video recordings are admissible as evidence very timid or of judges to judge differently. In civil litigation rather than criminal processes as a defendant to the prosecutor's offices.
Remains to be seen how the legislature in the protection of personal property or personal integrity against privacy interests will decide. I would argue for admission as evidence until the last possible instance!
Final verdict:
The iTracker mini-0806 Pro is an excellent dashcam that carries this name rightly.
Everything is important reliably recorded (wide viewing angle without FishEye effect) and can in retrospect relatively easily viewed and your own driving mistakes be understood.
I've found so far no negative aspect deduct even one star.
By us a strong buy recommendation! Reasons to buy exactly this unit there are many see above!

First update to my review (04/25/15)
Due to the size of the files in FullHD I now have the HD resolution with 60 frames / sec. elected.
In direct comparison, I can see no appreciable advantage of the higher resolution. Better yet, I get
at the HD setting significantly more image sequences / sec.
The view of the videos on your home 50 "TV via HDMI are the ones making laughter when the camera slightly
Curiosities had taken what was so did not notice while driving .... grins
The stored video, the oldest data is deleted when space is tight reliable.
Well, the first hot summer is (I hope), we'll see how the camera as this suggests. Will there be problems?
Overheated of image sensor?
Up here, and today we are still very happy and it is now in the still room to buy one for the second car.
