It's as simple hardly!
The LogiLink AD0005A is designed to connect to an existing IDE -Laufwerken SATA connection of today's motherboards and fulfills its task to my complete satisfaction.
This converter or adapter with SATA and Y power adapter and one English. Delivered manual and is no jumper configuration (Although on the board vorhander - away but fingers -) immediately ready for use.
First, please check whether the IDE - drive is set to Master. (Jumpers on the drive)
Then attach simple SATA cable and power cable to the board, attach the converter to the IDE drive (power supply of the converter shows the power connector IDE drive) and the IDE drive with electricity. Plug the SATA cable into the motherboard, check everything again and finished.
I connected with this adapter my LG burner on my new mobo and it works just fine.
