Have decided to use this card, otherwise the transfer rate of USB 2.0 has extremely strained my nerves because I often copy several hundreds GB of data back and forth. Since I was influenced me from the computer screen, I ordered this card in an edition of the newspaper has become test winner. Delivery as always extremely fast. The map is very well packaged. It comes with a driver CD and an installation manual. So, computer opened a free slot searched (this card is compatible with any PCIe x1 or x16 (slot for a graphics card)'s slot. Of course, the second variant of the slot is pure waste, since the PCIe x16 significantly higher data transfers can pull than the PCIe -x1. Who but not x1 (more), but it still the x16, this can be used, of course, despite that the slot is significantly longer than the X1. The map is very small and easy to install. She has at the back of a power connector (Molex) so that USB inputs, each with max. 900mA can be supplied. This must be combined with the power connector, the power supply, so that if one external 2.5-inch USB 3.0 hard disks without inserting its own power supply, it can also be supplied with electricity. The large 3.5-inch hard drives with its own power supply you need not to connect the card to the power connector necessarily. Computer screwed up and started. After that tricked the driver CD and install the drivers. After a reboot this card was detected and could be used immediately. So you can also see the proper installation, you can in the device manager (I speak here of the Windows operating system) under USB 3.0 ports look whether there are been listed the USB. If not has not been installed correctly the card. But now comes the best part. The transfer speed of USB 2.0 is limited to max. 32MB / sec. limited. For all external hard drives that I own of course the USB 3.0 support the standard, I reach with this card a transmission rate of min. 54MB / sec. max. 74MB / sec. which depends on the respective hard drive. That's a significant advantage. But what still positive addition, all hard drives or USB flash drives still have the old USB 2.0 compliant, get on this USB 3.0 card significantly more speed, but also to max. 32MB / sec. is limited. So, I can highly recommend the map!
