Unpacking and commissioning went so far as problems.
The use of the printer ribbon cassette but hakelig. I have tried several times, but it never worked right away, somewhere remained the cartridge every now hang short or canted up.
What has me still not quite developed is why the device has a rechargeable battery. It only works on a PC, so do not stand alone. The only explanation for me: for printing reaches the max. Current of 500mA the USB port and does not need to be buffered by the battery. To this end, the Dymo often also to the USB port must then be tuned so that the battery is always full. Could not this information in the instructions found.

After power-up and installation of the device driver, the software starts the Dymo. This is very spartan, has so really only the most necessary of all. The operation, however, is not a problem.

The band detection (the width) is done automatically.
Otherwise, it is called 'WYSIWYG' (loosely translated: It is printed as you see it). Here, however, show quirks that I do not understand.
As a rule, you have many fonts on the PC. Some of them can also be used without problems. Others will appear but as the system default font and so well printed, although there are TrueType fonts. The famous Wingdings (graphic symbols) can not be used for example.
There is also an option to print an image file, it works well. All the more I wonder that many fonts do not function.

Have of course looked well for the latest drivers and software, but here there were no updates.

With all the shortcomings, I can only give 3 stars.
If the main problem would be eliminated fonts, would certainly add star.
