This first volume is for me a very pleasant surprise!

It's been several months since I had great possessions this book on my bedside table, stuck somewhere between my unstable piles of decorative book more or less (depending viewpoints :-)) invading my nightstand. And with the arrival of the movie coming out October 16 in theaters, I told myself cétait probably a good time to dislodge the dust and open it at last! And what a surprise! Read in just 2 days, eager to play this highly addictive, the unfortunate didnt last long! And in hindsight, I almost regret my stupidity laundry abandoned to its fate as long

Joking aside and move on to serious things! Clary is 16 and lives with Jocelyne, his mother. She has never known her father who died before his birth. One evening by visiting a nightclub in the company of Simon's best friend, she witnesses the event of a more unpleasant and surprising. And it also saperçoit amazing thing what is the one to see it since Simon sees neither the 3 young dressed in black facing them, nor that they exhibit strange weapons and tidy after murdering a young boy with blue hair

The style of Cassandra Clare is shattering and devastating, no time to get bored and wondering what it will happen. The heroes go on adventures adventures, revelations revelations and magic is part of this universe populated Dombre hunters, witches, demons, vampires, werewolves, spells, incantations JAdore !! No complexity in the rich world that at first may seem complicated with all the clans of supernatural creatures, but not at all! Lauteure sen really comes brilliantly !! The plot keeps us in suspense after Completion impossible den detect the beginnings. Jai struggled to mendormir after closing my book (circa 2am ;-)) oh no! No! Why this is too cruel for our heroes? Anyway I'll dig me later presto before becoming crazy ;-)

Here we are dealing with relatively well-imagined characters and searched, with great charisma. Hesitations and stupor Clary facing the discovery of this new world she navait never suspected the existence until at quagréables are more to follow. His friendship towards seamless Simon, sensitivity, maturity and wisdom despite his youth, his humor, his interest Jace (which continues to pretend), difficulties to consider her mother in the role she had before his birth ( I will not reveal everything you anyway !!) brief all those little things make Clary a very endearing character and above available for the reader who sidentifier na no trouble to it. Jace is an outstanding fighter, probably a little too confident but his composure and his cockiness makes him a reassuring: a true moral support and protector Clary who are more than necessary. I liked to see him morph throughout the book, despite some misunderstanding (some dagacement also I must say) face the choice of lauteure, the end shows how much has changed Jace Clary contact.

In short: Adventure, magic, mysterious world, spells, creatures limaginaire, friendship, courage, and many budding love with humor. This first volume is for me a very pleasant surprise! (Better than the film I'm afraid because the trailer (the proof in pictures here) do not much convinced me)
