This is the Grohe ...

Arrived in 3 days in Germany. Works perfectly.
Most:
- Sober and modern aesthetics (to my taste)
- High quality material and seriously packed (as usual with Grohe)
- All special tools are delivered, including the joints.
- Installation not complicated but ...

Cons:
- Some sketches of the record are inexplicites and not intuitive. One wonders if they mean and you lose time.
- Part 2 sketches is ... at the end of the record, separated by the blah. When you are stuck in stage X,
think about going to step X + 1 at the end of the manual!
- Assembly time result (2 to 3 hours minimum). Clearly identify all parts before attacking.
- My gooseneck has a notch position of a fault (which locks the hand shower) No catastrophic, it is offset from February to March °. By far this is perfect, close (30cm) it shows and involves outlet spout is not vertical but inclined !!
So I contacted the SAV (25/01) with supporting photographs. After 4 weeks (26/02), the service asks for my address to send the replacement part. For now, I do not know if they have correctly interpreted my request nor are they going to send me. To be continued on a future comment.
However the service was manifested. C A month long, but I guess I'm not the only one to contact them.
- Record tells a place that the maximum distance between spindle and mixer valve is 30cm, and 50cm to another ...
- Control of the electro-valve is too simplified for reasons of cost and therefore it loses control convenience.
It is essential to allow the free visual access to watch the tiny red light flashing behind its translucent black plastic and can press a button that does not fit and is not touch! It's very unpleasant.
The technical manual is not explicit enough about the function of "cleaning"! ... Let us guess alone how to ensure that the "cleaning" has started and if it is done! ...

This is the only negative which is a shame, incl record.

My advice:
- Being under renovation, knowing there was more numerous fittings and fixings to be made (compared to a conventional mixer), I fixed a plate novopan navy brick wall. It is on this board that will tighten all fasteners for pipes and fittings. Better to drive a self-tapping screw wood to pierce a wall, put a peg and start next if you fall in an old brick seal. He was then easy to proceed in three stages, to optimize the installation.

- Contrary to what is said in a previous review, it is not mandatory to place the solenoid valve to the right mixer.
Simply, as conceived and given the length of flexible delivery, if you place the valve in the center or left, it will buy stainless steel hose extensions (15cm or 30) to extend the original ones and do not fold risk.
Personally, I performed the installation without sink cabinet in place. It was therefore easier. But everything has been calculated so that future adjustments to be possible without being a contortionist under a sink. It is true that it is better to sink a large plan. 70cm is the minimum.

- Turn shut-off valves over.

- Before placing the supplied battery: Close the faucet, open the water inlets, place the battery WAIT 1MN before testing the device.
It is marked on the package insert. The valve block measures the temperature and humidity. If you do not wait the time, the operation will be unsecured and random.
