For me, this last volume is disappointing and I struggled to finish it. The story behind, and the characters are not me at all passionate. Spent the second half of the novel, the couple bored (it always at work and always with his music) and I'm bored me too! Moreover, the reference to Rapunzel is really tiny and comes very late in the novel. The only thing that saved this novel, in my opinion, is the character of Layla, the stepmother of heroin. She is kind, funny and often whimsical.
