This protects the display even when a good part of the falls. I been using it for a few months and am very satisfied, the glass is relatively scratch-resistant (according to an impression comparable to the original glass, I've only tiny micro-scratches which I had seen on the original Gorilla Glass also in my previous unit after a while) and the grease-repelling coating keeps well.
