The Griffin shell has a very beautiful design. The attachment to a belt is extremely convenient. And it is nice to have so well in hand! I did not find that the iPhone is much heavier, thicker or harder to slip in your pocket in this case. All buttons are easily accessible, the use is not hampered.

However, too much dust passes between the plastic and the screen. After two weeks of use, having removed the cover of the iPhone only three times, one of the attachments of the screen protection closes (not "clipped") more fully.

Worse, and to remove the iPhone from the shell is too hard - to the point, if done poorly or too strong, damaging the rubber and the device itself! Ironically, this protective shell has been the cause of a slight strain in the back of my iPhone ...

Finally, the small soft rubber square that should be used to "push" iPhone out of the shell (against plastic fasteners that hold it firmly, too firmly so) mark the back of the device. Even after having suffered much, the shape of the square remains printed in the back of the iPhone.

In sum, the case is far from optimal to protect valuable 5S. For this user, despite its strengths, she even had the opposite effect.
