As in the VD series, we find ourselves at the center of conflicts mixing vampires, werewolves and witches wolves. The Originals deals primarily with the history of the original vampire Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah. Three siblings, immortal and indestructible with strong character but diametrically opposed. They spread death and blood in their path and try whatever the cost déchapper their father werewolf (Mikael) who chases around the world to destroy them.
We begin this book in 1722, the original three have been trying for nine years to be accepted by the other clans that live supernatural supreme and almighty in New Orleans.
While quElijah work in search of a place to put a house protected his siblings to Labris, Rebekah sembrigade of a soldier in camp in order to create an army. And Klaus, meanwhile, puts both feet in it, falling in love with that promised the moon son of the most influential families werewolves in New Orleans, thereby reducing to nothing the poor scheming to dElijah acceptance
The story is a sequel Drafting, everything goes in a movie. Always dun omniscient point of view, we alternate chapters between the three main protagonists as sil sagissait scenes. There are a lot of events, the suspense is not at its peak but is still quite interesting to follow. I'm not bored for a moment! Lauteure is none other than Julie Plec is also the creator and producer of the series The Originals, lon better understand how sarticule history ^^
In short: I think this saga is a good addition to the eponymous series. (Although I do not know ^^) We read this novel as lon would watch a movie, the senchaînent shares, the story is simple, fluid and direct. No quarter! There is little room for feelings even if the great word of this story is love. There is no mercy, this is very bloody originals are clearly not followers happy endings
