Absolutely positive I found:
- Size - fits comfortably in your hand, not too small
- The surface - is super rubberized grip, not slip out of the hand, feels very comfortable, velvety
- Optics - the burgundy color is noble and highly visible when lying on the table a little current seniors several things ready. Overall, very good design, more beautiful than on the photo, slightly shimmering metallic look.
- The solution as a clamshell. Many seniors do not clear the key lock of a simple mobile phones. That's here in this Folder phone is not the case: just open or close the phone, and you're done.
- 3 direct selection buttons
- Large numbers when entering the phone number.
- Signal LED on the phone: Charging is displayed on the mobile phone itself with red LED, if it is loaded, the light goes out. Call and SMS, the missed are signaled by a blue LED.
- The emergency button clearly labeled back (I have not tested this feature but I know is good, just caution in an unintended actuation: My aunt has accidentally press the detached at a similar emergency call button in the middle of the night to 4 clock early.. there was chaos wg. Nothing. Since they do not want a emergency button, although we recommend you all).
Without Rating:
- Radio: goes, moderately, you can hear headphones here.
Needs improvement:
- The back of the phone is to insert the card and the battery extremely bad open. Whether the elderly alone can provide? '
- Charger: Attaching the power cord to the charger's strange, somehow one has to give the impression of doing something wrong, because there is really no place for the insertion of the plug, you have to squeeze it sideways. Then it is firmly seated. Inserting the mobile phone into the charger a little tight, but not too bad. At the outlet plug a big red light.
- All promotional photos show a beautiful Unfolded phone with nice readable buttons black on white background. The deceptive: as soon as you open the phone, or the buttons are pressed, the blue backlight turns on. With poor eyesight is just a blue lighting unfavorable. The is also uneven, centrally positioned, the outward signs are weaker.
- Setting Hometown: This will open a menu, the default is 'Bogota', with a special mobile 'Beijing'. Needless tedious shifts to horizontal and vertical lines to come only on 'Berlin'. Yes if you already have a German default, including so complicated ultra? Come therefore seniors clear?
- Standard display: See photos. I find it unnecessary to display the time in rainbow colors, just the date is in a font, where everything blurs together. A plain Arial font would legible and even elegant.
You can also set the default display on an analog clock, a good idea, but 'with bells and whistles' at the expense of legibility. See Photo. I thought the phone is intended for seniors and for children.
- Ringtones: Annoying! The Midi tones. Sharp, tinny. It scares when ringing. I wanted draufspielen other tones via Bluetooth. The mobile phone has Bluetooth for the transmission but only 500 kB (!!!!) space, so the 1st tone it was not before because before 'Memory full'. (It can be used MicroSD). Other two small notes I have transferred (after 'Memory full'). Tested. Cruel! It rattles, croaks if seniors want something?
Increasing ring means (only) first beep quieter, then identical. No solution.
- Bluetooth: The Swissvoice phone found my Samsung (mobile) not ('found no device'). My Samsung took the Swissvoice immediately, as 'GPlus GH 666'. (???) 'As I said, I was able to transfer little, and on the other hand, because of ringtones Bluetooth is not worth more.
- Listen: Sharp, sharp tones, with no possibility of tonal adjustment, very loud or even louder. Unpleasant, not for long calls.
- LED lamp: When operating the sliding switch on the side is pressed automatically on the volume buttons on the other side. '
- Camera - very bad, and what about? It is especially inconvenient to come on how to trigger the camera, it is not explained in the manual.
Conclusion. A chic cell phone, good approach, but not thought through to the end. A tip to the developers: it nevertheless times please times in a retirement home, and let the seniors, the manual and the phone itself test ...
