I have heard many InEars in different price segments and reviewed here. Always looking for an ear with good sound quality, but this affordable. Top no limits are set so as so often. After speaking to the Apple MA 850 G / A Stereo In-ear headphones (109 dB, remote control, microphone) for iPod now know have found what I was looking for and I asked sounding satisfied, nevertheless asks me another question: What, if someone cherishes similar demands on the sound, but can not spend as much or wants?
Is there also something that does not sound like buttons VALUE while remaining reasonably priced? Perhaps even a remote control with microphone for iPod, iPhone etc brings?
Finally, I had made an attempt with the Ultimate Ears 400vi in-ear headphones with microphone, which duly went wrong.
Therefore, I found it hard to believe some reports that the UE200 should establish a straight tip for InEars the lower price segment.
I decided to make the sample and bought the model with Remote and Mic - UE200vi - in blue.
I have now heard extensively to the enthusiasm for the UE200 understand - and even that some do not like the InEars.
Product review:
The Logitech Ultimate Ears 200 are driven by two dynamic drivers, which is common in this price range. As VI model there to the remote control with an integrated microphone. The processing is the price accordingly simple and it can be seen clearly seams. The Y-piece falls out quite large, the angled connector, however pretty small. The cable is pleasant to the touch and is best worn over the ears, otherwise it generates disturbing noises that are worn on the ear approach. The UEs sit well in both directions - both above and beneath.
The seal ensures at the UE200 for a pretty good insulation against ambient noise, but there is still so much by that one around you can have in the life. Lying on the UE200 provides for me is not a problem, because they build quite small and do not press disturbing.
The remote control provides good pressure points and works well.
The included storage box is useful, the space is sufficient for the rolled InEars straight.
There are silicone caps in sizes XS, S, M, L and XL. An abundant supply. One set of Comply Foam's would have been nice, because the most important thing in using such InEars is a reasonable seal (Seal). This goes with the complys simply the best. With the wide range of silicone caps but what you want to bring should be to seal properly.
I want to emphasize: the most important thing is the right InEars seating and optimum sealing! Seal off not good, the sound experience is usually. thin and lifeless.
My personal impression of sound:
The UEs do something that is unusual for dynamic InEars, especially in this price range: They are extremely balanced.
No bass boost the volume attempts to artificially ver (bad) better - the ear of the average techno, hip-hop or RnB listener to flatter with Bass powers.
No treble boost attempts to fake niceties, which end in a nasty hissing at the end.
No loudness curve trying to fool me sound patterns that sound while great, but have the actual music very little in common.
Do not get me wrong, all these genres and accordingly "gesoundeten" InEars have their place and target audience, but here Ultimate Ears has apparently chosen deliberately, however, offering a vote, as I am used to from Balanced Armature (BA) driven models ,

The UE sugarcoat not sound neutral and balanced. Criticisms that I see: they are somewhat cancellation with quiet game and build a very tight little stage on. But given the price segment, the performance offered is good and is my tip for all, which fall InEars with BA-drive do not want or can afford.
The voice quality of the microphone is good, but fairly quiet. Voice commands are implemented well only in very quiet environments on iPhone. Outdoors it often goes wrong.
Conclusion:
Is limited budget, but the desire for balanced sound available, the UE200 to be drawn in each case on the short list. With the remote control and microphone UE200vi they are a good and cheap alternative to Apple supplied Earbuds iPhone. Who can get involved in the first somewhat powerless acting game and the small stage will be rewarded with a pleasant, balanced reproduction that is never annoying.
The low price is reflected in the quality of the cable and the general processing. Overall 4 stars for a good idea.
A little more volume and stage and the UE200 would get from me 5 stars.
For lovers of booming bass, and / or many ups the UE200 are not recommended. Play music not "gesoundet" again, as known eg from Philips, Creative and Sony.

I like dynamic sound, a clear sound, the clean separation of instruments and a precise location.
The best headphones should pleasantly tired to reproduce low notes, the bass do not dominate the band. The centers are displayed neutral, do not occur in the background or foreground. Heights are clearly and cleanly exposed. S-sounds are not prone to hiss and a basin should also listen to this and not like a piece of sheet metal that is thrown into a corner. The whole thing please even at low volumes, I must not ruin my hearing by force. ;) That would be the optimum, which is of course not to be found in the entry-level segment, but starting from this picture I think my explanation about the perceived sound.
