The extras are they different from a cheap mouse and absolutely justify the price in my opinion:
+ The DPI switching (with the simple push of a button in the middle of the mouse to 'red' provide for faster mouse movement, press again to the 'blue' for slower mouse movement to make)
+ The rest for the thumb - and overall the intelligent ergonomic design,
+ Toothed scroll-pad rubber for better grip,
+ And the back and forward button for browser and Reading Apps.
These extras and design are really designed very smart, well executed and perfectly configured. Special drivers are required to none.
+ The Asus UX300 mouse is still light and well suited for not too large hands.
I'm not a fan of mice with too many keys, but this one is really well done, and the three extra keys (DPI switching and forward and back button) are exactly what really should be standard already and fits perfect for my needs, and is also well adjusted accordingly.
+ The DPI switching button is contrary to my earlier fears in any way in the way or interfere. The same applies to the forward and back buttons.
Bravo, Asus !!
I can only recommend to anyone.
- The middle mouse button is reasonably determined to press, in daily use but I have no problems with it, and I think that's probably intention so as not pressed this button accidentally.
