I have an old Philips LCD TV without Amazon maintenance-video function. When you enter range from 19 euros for prime customers I had not reconsider long the acquisition. Just in time for the specified delivery date can finally my stick. The installation of the stick was easy: stick with the adapter to connect (for better wireless reception) and plugged into the HDMI port. USB cable into the USB port of the TV and away you go. On WLAN (2.4 and 5 GHz possible!) Login and watch the introduction video. The stick is already set to my Amazon account and you can instantly retrieve its contents. With my 6000 DSL everything runs beautifully smoothly in HD. The device measures the network speed and automatically selects the best stream setting. The remote control (of course) with radio and does not have to be kept in the direction of the TV. It has a pleasantly quiet click point and is nice and light and small. The stick it detects automatically. Unfortunately my USB port does not provide enough power (probably only the standard 0.5 A), so I had but then use the supplied power adapter from Amazon (1.8A). The Stick asks if I want to continue without the AC adapter? (Weird). Thanks to the relatively long cable but not a problem. The software (FireOS Nutzeroberfläche, Android 4.2) is very clearly structured and visually appealing. The usage is very easy and self-explanatory. Everything runs very smoothly and quickly. Very pleasant. Many apps to stream, play, etc. to choose from. The approximately 5 GB of memory are first sufficiently. Small games for our daughter make even fun. Among the settings is also just a software update available. The language on the app works amazingly well. Although I speak High German, but even if I nuschle something all the proposals of the software are correct. Super! One point I still have to deduct: There is no volume control via remote control. Man must always have 2 FB Europe on sofa. This should be improved in the next generation or at least entered as a function in the app. It would also be nice if I could not start with the "home" but with eg my "Watchlist". The "Line display" the content is also not ideal for me. If I want, for example to the 40.ten comment on my watch list, I have 40 times that of the FB press and hold and wait for press or. An overview in mosaic form would certainly be more comfortable, particularly about 2/3 of the image content are black and therefore unused. The stick is technically a great part and also 39 euros worth. All necessary cables and adapters are included. Not of course I'm looking forward to rainy weather, so I can use Prime plentiful.
Update: The stick is still fun. WLAN crashes or other disorders, which are reported here with me no trace
