###### Functions ######
The Mi band has only a motion sensor, with this, the steps taken are recorded.

###### Pedometer ######
The bracelet measures the steps and displays them in the app. The capture is really very accurate when walking or running, but also movements with the arms are counted as steps, which have a similar motion characteristic. The battery life is great, one month is absolutely doable, I managed even six weeks. The battery consumption depends largely on how often the data is synchronized with the phone and how many runs the vibration motor.
The band does not have to be permanently coupled or near the cell phones, once a day shortly with the mobile phone or the app sync ranges. Pedometer, sleep detection and alarm of course not work anyway, only the call & app notification.
