Too difficult and too religious: to book for scholars or specialists of the Bible and Hebrew

I wish to 4 or 5 stars because I watched videos of Dannick Souzenelle and I appreciated what she said, the depth of his words, and his personality and ethics. I wanted to tackle me from reading his books, starting with this one, but after a few pages, I closed the book: too complicated / complex, too difficult, too many references Hebrew, Biblical, esoteric, mystical, religious. Everything is abstruse.

A sample sentence "simple" (!) "The collective which lives and the history of its metahistory cut tends to institutionalize the event and to lock its contents alienated structures in the world."

Two examples of complex sentences:

The rest of the book is about that size.

Not having an octopus IQ, I could understand by dint of hard, but I did not want to read 3 times each sentence of a book 330 pages to capture its essence.

I like spiritual books, esotericism and mysticism, but not in this form, too sharp for me. I prefer such books by Jean-Yves Leloup, more accessible and less intellectual.
