The language learning program of Rosetta Stone to dive from the first lesson in the Japanese-speaking world. There are four different writings in which Japanese is listed and can be selected at any time: kanji / furigana; Kanji, Hiragana & Katakana and Romaji. Since Japanese is so far an unknown language for me, I can not specify the differences between the fonts accurately. But that is the Romaji latinisation Japanese characters.
If you start with the Japanese fonts, you are completely dependent on the language, so that it learns just by listening. It works, but is lighter at the beginning of learning with the Romaji font.
The course starts with the step 1, it we learn, among other things, the Japanese vocabulary for eating, reading, man, woman, girl, boy, running, cooking, tea, juice and newspaper and conjugations are shown first. After the main lesson, there are depressions in the vocabulary in pronunciation, grammar, writing, reading and listening. Thus, there is from the beginning a lot of repetition and in the following stages the vocabulary in other contexts are mentioned.
In this language teaching method grammar and vowels so you have to learn by heart not only stubborn, but here you have to participate interactively as a learner. A very good opportunity to learn a new language.
The first level contains the Level 2: Welcome and introduction, stage 3: work and school and Stage 4: Shopping. The stages are each still divided into many sub-stages.
And then you have edited all, you're at least not completely in a fix in Japan, but continue to learn you can not, because this course includes only the price level Level 1. There is still the opportunity to improve online speech, games in the foreign play language, read stories for the respective learning levels and can also be read, make contact with other students around the world and the Rosetta Studio. Here the learning content with other students and a teacher who teaches in his mother tongue to be completed online, so you have to speak in the foreign language and learns the more significant as the teachers frequently have new vocabulary vocabulary expansion close.
This online access can be subsequently activated, but then costs around 25 euros per month in addition.
Online access and the opportunities it presents worthwhile in any case - this I was able to test with another language (Spanish) and was very enthusiastic.
But in this introductory course Rosetta Level 1 Japanese I can only advise. The price for the course is about 190 euros, as of January 2014 the Complete Course for Japanese costs about 240 Eur. A Complete Course Rosetta has a total of five levels, japnisch three. Thus you get for your money but only one third of the total price will have to pay a comparatively large amount for it.
Conclusion: Those who are interested to learn Japanese, you should get the Rosetta Course, but please check the complete course and not this starter package. It's too expensive in comparison.
