Customer Review

The stone has jumped with me despite "Handmade in Germany" after the 10th use of making pizza. I like the quick start guide the stone between 2 pizzas recommended again let heat (about 10 minutes). After baking, a clear plan was to see when I then after the cool down from the grating lifted the stone, he broke the dead weight.

For Stone, if he does not break:
The "sealing" of the stone can not be cleaned easily, because the stone is glazed and you dare not to resort to "harder" means to depth to avoid scratches. So if cheese runs from the pizza to the stone, there are spots that you can not easily abbekommt at least with water and detergent. Since you have quite a while to scrub with a sponge.
Greaseproof paper must advise you, if you use the stone at 300 ° C. The bottom of the pizza is then noticeably darker. By raising the rim of flour can not be so easily swept under the stone, between two pizzas. In addition, the border makes it not necessarily easier to slide the pizza onto the stone because of the angle thus is more acute. When taking down the pizza but that's no matter because the bottom is crisp and the pizza does not sag.
The baking result is outstanding with the stone! That's why 2 stars.
The supplied slide can be forgotten, because it is too thick and you so much flour requires the pizza not it adheres. Looks beautiful, but is good only to the pizza or a cheese plate to cause it ...;)
The stone is nice and wide, but not deep, good for two mini pizzas or Tarte. Bakes you a large pizza on the left and a great deal of unused space - for example, you can use for pizza rolls.

I am sure that you would be served by a cheaper stone as well.

Shortly to instructions, the small enclosed recipe booklet contains only recipes that are always supplied even at a Bosch oven in a ring binder.

EDIT: For people who want to buy the stone yet. An exact same stone is offered slightly cheaper Siemens: Siemens HZ327000 ()

Addendum:

The first stone was replaced in December 2013.. Now - about 9 months and 20 missions later - has jumped also the replaced stone. Although he is not broken like the first stone, but a crack runs across the stone - this plan can be seen on both sides. And even though I'm not even the quick-heating, even the intensive heat function my Bosch oven. Will let the stone again exchange and access after the warranty safely to another brand. Bosch sets as other major brands of no value to more quality, but the maximization of profit counts.
