The delivery took place (like Amazon usual) quickly - kudos to this point.
The first impression from the receiver was absolutely positive:
- Good picture in SD and HD
- Operability largely self-explanatory
- Receiver and Remote act high quality
- Trouble-free after formatting an external USB hard drive HD recordings possible
Up to this point I would have forgiven definitely 5 stars!
... If it were not following would have happened:
- At the first switch to a HD + program was an information window, 5 seconds later, an image and the.
Humax receiver hung on - for over 5 minutes OFF button on the receiver pressed
- Henceforth came at HD + programs always the Notice the balance of the HD + card would be exhausted!
(There is also a 0900 phone number is displayed, you can call for assistance)
- On the Internet I could not find the indication that this issue after a firmware update on
Version 1:00:09 was resolved -> wanted in the download area of Humax (unsuccessfully) for the latest firmware
-> A firmware update is only possible with this receiver when it is connected directly to the Internet!
-> There is no update on eg USB stick possible!

I was able to establish a stable connection to the Internet - but only was an update of the existing
Version 1:00:03 possible to version 1:00:08 - 1:00:09 the version was not offered!
- After the update to version 1:00:08 and many tests, the HD + card was still not functional
- The biggest disappointment was then the Humax Support:
When calling the service number 01805 ..... was the voice computer after Serial no. the receiver asked.
After entering this number, the call has ended and referenced a 0900 number.
Then I tried to email support.
-> I briefly described the problem with the HD + card and wrote that I
have already carried out a firmware update.
-> The answer was that I should install the Firmware Version 1:00:09.
-> I wrote back that has only the version 1:00:08 is installed.
-> The answer was that I should install the Firmware Version 1:00:09.
-> I still wrote once all together and asked for help, or a
uncomplicated exchange of HD + card.
-> The answer was that I should install the Firmware Version 1:00:09.
-> I wrote, I have again started an update, but from Humax
only the version of 1:00:08 is at your disposal and it is already installed.
-> The answer was that I should install the Firmware Version 1:00:09.
As the time had come for me to return the receiver to Amazon.
HD + card that does not work, firmware update only via direct connection
the Internet (up to an outdated version) and an e-mail support, the
obviously no time has the emails in correctly
read - this is just too much!
Call .... and 0900 numbers in the warranty period must not be ....
Too bad, but obviously is here saving at the wrong end.
