too seen and reviewed

When the announcement of this new publication Milady was made I thought: Oh a new series, oh awesome Dragons !!!
Only apart from the novelty introduced with dragons, this series is no different from other series of its kind, and even it seems to be in a pastiche of JR Ward.

I'm not saying that it is badly written, it is well indeed but this déjà vu you stuck with it throughout the reading and taints your enjoyment. The heroes are too similar in their reactions to those of the brotherhood of the black dagger. Can not have a surprise or turnaround because everything is expected ...

I do not immerse myself in the story because of it. Well after this is a volume of introduction, perhaps the author will introduce elements to make this work for something unique but I stay on my reserve.

In summary a story with a very big sense of déjà vu, a catchy writing, however, in the end it will remain for me a mixed reading because I expected much more.
