I struggled to enter in the story, especially when we ended up in England. The book seemed to be interesting from the moment Kim "shameless." Otherwise it is too smooth, too civilized.
Maricara is just ambiguous point. It is a marvel of freedom I am afraid to see her wither alongside Kim. Even if he wants to make her his "queen".
