First of all in advance: I found it very difficult to research the various products or PROPERTIES the Oral-B brand. I went there specifically to an oral care center. The internet address of this product series, no comparative information. So I called a total of 4 times at Brown in order to arrive at a purchase decision. First of all anticipated: Many years ago I had an oral care center of the Braun brand that has excited me simply. I have quite a few crowns and bridges in my mouth, and especially under the bridges, the irrigator the leftovers of his time flushed out perfectly. The present generation of products no longer do that, unfortunately. Supposedly was here which changed the pressure strength, because otherwise you could injure the gums themselves. I do not, however, never happened. Now for the properties. Regarding the oral irrigator, there are two systems: Waterjet and Oxyjet. Both with the same heavy pressure, however Oxyjet is enriched with oxygen bubbles so that one feels the pressure as much softer. So I opted for Waterjet. The toothbrush was relatively unimportant to me, because here I had no special requests. The normal toothbrush does also. So it was clear that the simplest device is sufficient. The model names are very different, but describe a common and the same product, z. B. Waterjet500 = Waterjet6500. Maximum difference is color. My conclusion: The toothbrush Waterjet500 is really good, the irrigator so-so. (Remove leftover food under the bridge) of the desired effect I can not too good, the interdental spaces are reasonably clean and a very pleasant mouthfeel remains. I for one would like to see a stronger jet of water! The slide switch of the shower is stiff, could be better. And that wetting yourself the mirror during use? Really not a problem, then you just need to simply not open as much mouth.
Addendum on 07/07/2014: Now, after more than 3 1/2 years that has occurred, what D. Beyer writes in his review. The rubber hose is broken, and as close to the container, that there is no chance to repair the fracture site in some way. Although the device is working properly else I have to dispose of it now. Too bad, I would have wished that this device a little longer performs its duties.
