I have the whole new Optoma 95.8VC01GC0E HD131Xe DLP projector (WUXGA, 2500 ANSI lumens, contrast 18000: 1, 3D, 2x Dig Zoom, 2x HDMI, 262 Watt, USB-B.) Optoma HD131Xe Beamer, the Same for HD25e is and I bought the system and ZF2100 ZF2100 3 more glasses so.
My previous "entry-level projector" was the Acer H5360BD with DLP Link 120Hz 3D and only.
I have the Optoma in 2D precisely adjust / calibrate can, so that the colors and the gamma value fits very well (I have, however, the blue component in white lifted a bit, because I think to 6500K for Red Fusty / Sand)
The Full HD screen in 2D is on a 90 "screen and seat pitch of about 3.5 Mtr. Really bombastic! Extreme contrast to Acer projector. Full HD, Super High Contrast, excellent black levels and perfect shadow detail and wonderful colors (AFTER CALIBRATION!)
Because I really wanted to 3D again and I therefore also specially the Optoma projector with RF VESA 3D port've bought because I've read that the RF variant should bring significant advantages over DLP Link (partly because Rotblitz and signal loss).
At first I was a little disappointed with the 3D result because the colors were extremely distorted by the glasses! It all seemed very green-fusty me. In addition, the right lens flickered quite colorful.
Detachment brought only the home theater or HiFi Forum, as I have found here is a brief guide for setting the Optoma emitter (transmitter / receiver).
So I have a short hand the Monster Vision 3D program loaded on my PC and the emitter in the current 3D mode connected via USB and so pretty much delay and duty cycle value can adjust.
(Ie highest brightness / light line) the duty cycle I could set and then adjust Delay (delay / shutter times) manually so until no ghosting or ghosting could be seen more at 120%.
In well-made 3D films (such as Tron Legacy, Ice Age 4, Avatar, Life of Pi, etc.) I really do and my girlfriend absolutely no ghosting! And the picture is even in bright scenes Flicker.
The advantage of the "new" Dark Chip 3 is in 3D mode, the multiple extrapolation of 24Hz (frames per second) at 144Hz, this allows an almost perfect sequence of movements which is extremely quiet and smooth as silk.
As you can safely dispense with additional FI frame interpolation or interframe calculation.
3D so much better than the Acer Beamer!
Overall, I can only express a huge compliment to Optoma!
It is known already for years that Optoma produces very high quality lenses. Coupled with the latest technology (3D-RF, Full HD and the "new" Dark Chip 3) still be throwing a hammer price on the market is truly remarkable!
I can both for the projector
Optoma 95.8VC01GC0E HD131Xe DLP projector (WUXGA, 2500 ANSI lumens, contrast 18000: 1, 3D, 2x Dig Zoom, 2x HDMI, 262 Watt, USB-B.)
Optoma 95.8VC01GC1E HD25e DLP projector (WUXGA, 2800 ANSI lumens, contrast 20000: 1, 262 Watt, 3D, 2x Dig Zoom, 2x HDMI, USB-B.)
as ZF2100 system only kudos and an absolute Weiteremfehlung also make for Optoma my part.
