Lightweight and compact zoom lens with an amazingly good picture quality. Perfect for beginners, belongs in my opinion to the basic equipment of a 700D, particularly for video recordings. It focused very quickly and quietly - no long and loud "way Hergezucke" as in the previous models. Of course, the lens is not perfect in absolute terms, which is due to the price, but you get here relatively speaking really a best value. Who better lenses and more robust (metal) wishes mechanics can get, but factor X must invest more and will then possibly be disappointed that the difference lower than expected. Conclusion: strong buy recommendation and the perfect kit lens. Best 5 star in this price segment.
