Like every other MHL adapters also, it must be powered by an external power supply. The reason for this is that the voltage from the smartphone alone is not sufficient for the transfer of the image to VGA. This is ultimately not a problem. Just the power cord and use the smartphone itself and then it is ready for use.
It was tested with the equipment mentioned above with the help of a Samsung monitor and an Benq projector. Both the signal is recognized immediately and outputs the image from your smartphone, in real time, again.
The transmitted live image is duplicated display - thus always in full control of the control, while the Präsenstation or similar ..
The adapter itself comes from the Asian region, so that's to be expected with a longer delivery time. Also, the goods must pass through customs, but this is ultimately for me as a customer not sue, because the sender has provided the package with a label that declares the goods as "Duty-free amount". Thus, no follow-up costs.
I still have to deduct a star. Everything works fine, only in the quality you might have to use a high-quality plastic, but solnage it without damage to work, I will not complain about it too :-)
