I had problems (snow in the picture, stripes) to connect my receiver Marantz NR 1604 with my Beimer Sony HW-50. I have a variety of approaches followed by all again to get out clean. My date last step is the HDMI cable (Amazon Basic) with whom I have been very happy to exchange. And I've tried this Purelink (version 3m, with safety lock and HDMI 2.0) and a Öhlbachkabel (Flat Magic 320) and the disruptive effects have since no longer occurred. Both cables have the result that the "snow" has since seen no more, I can not regard the two against each other, unfortunately. Compare signal quality.

One explanation why I think that the parasitics are currently in stock. The lamp of the projector generates probably a noise that in poorly shielded cables leads to errors.

An Information haptics of the two cable I also give short yet. The cross-section of the Pure Link cable is relatively small in becoming like those of the Amazon Basic variant, but I like the lockable plug very good. The Öhlbachkabel is from the cut surface three times as wide and about the same. The cable makes a very robust impression, but are tight curves with high power feasible.

Conclusion: I like them both very much and use them together in the system. If I had a reorder again, I would take the Pure Link, due to price and ease of handling.
