Pros:
+ Class processing / quality haptics (the white seams see example contrary to my expectation very classy, the leatherette still feels very good after two weeks, ...)
+ Perfect fit (the shell fits perfectly)
+ Camera holes and freely accessible buttons (with the new camera was my most important)
+ Good stand function (iPad look even upright on the bed really stable, a must-have for every video fan like me and practically the letter)
+ The hand-wrist strap I stopped only for a needless, but am now ardent fan (while walking can be read as comfortable News)
+ The Sleep-Wake function and the magnetic docking of the top are extremely practical (and absent in the Apple Case for iPad 1) -> there is a locked unit
+ The top never berrührt directly the display (the Smart Cover but already distributed and so the dirt directly to it as a stand collects on the display!) -> Great advantage of this shell
+ "Underdog" appearance (it allows the iPad classy but unobtrusive look like a writing case and thus reduces the risk of theft and does not look pretentious from)
Cons:
-the pen holder, I unfortunately have to remove (easily with scissors), because I do not need a loop and find unaesthetic (actually I thought, they can simply be folded away, but unfortunately this led to an unsightly deformation at the back, but that sounds worse than it is: who needs such a holder she can leave, I find unnecessarily) -> I would find a version with and without a better
-The corners are not really protected because evidently> I want a corner profile!
-I would like inside and faux leather (but is a matter of taste)
- The first day stinks the envelope a little bit, but lies down quickly
-white or other colors would be great!
Conclusion:
The shell protects my iPad very well from bumps and scratches, so I can just throw in my bag. At the same time, the operation is still possible without restrictions and reading on the go with the hand holder pleasantly practical. Strong buy recommendation!
