I have a set of transmitter and receiver for my iPod Classic 120GB bought, although it is not or only partially suitable, according to specifications. Except for the video function, although I did not need, the system works perfectly. My wish was to place the iPod directly to the bed, so you can read the display. Other docks must always be near the music system, if there is no cable to be pulled transversely through the living room. However, it is not generally possible, which then recognize the contents of the display yet. Then I looked at a large Internet shop a great deal, where I received the set of transmitter and receiver incl. Cable and two remote controls for just under 40 euros. That's cheaper than an original Apple dock which not even includes cable as opposed to Creative. Now the transmitter to the iPod is in the bed, as I wanted to and transmits the music via X-Fi wireless networking to the receiver, which is connected via chinch cable to the music system. The quality of transmission is beyond any doubt. One can hardly believe that the iPod is connected wirelessly. I would connect the dock to the removal via RCA cable, the quality would be poor. The switchable by remote control X-Fi Crystalizer spices up the music again to continue. An additional optional function is called X-Fi CMSS-3D. The iPod menu can be controlled by remote control. Both via the transmitter, where the iPod plugged in, as well as through the receiver. For the price above the dock is highly recommended despite the lack of the iPod Classic Video support. It should be noted, of course, included bowls fit only for the supported devices. So it must of came with the iPod Classic application (no. 9) are used. In addition, only the transmitter has an optical digital output and video output. The receiver has only a stereo cinch output and a line-out. Thus, the video transmission has always done for me, even if I connect my old iPod 5.5 (Video). For the price-performance ratio, the clean processing and smooth radio signal transmission there of me 5 stars.
