Top equipment - unfortunately not !!!

We have the Rommelsbacher EKS 2000 For the past 6 months in use. The machine worked perfectly and the coffee is delicious. Unlike many other Esspressomaschinen in this category, the execution is (especially housing) very high quality and looks chic. The two selector switches for the Esspressobezug (small and large) are for normal daily use fully sufficient, at least for us. Who wants to have here more and more complex choices, has to resort to more expensive equipment or machines.
At this price and in this quality a definite buy recommendation.

Unfortunately, I have to correct my so euphorically written 8 months ago review and revise the assessment drastically down. In July the screw is suddenly demolished in the portafilter holder. An attempt to get stuck in the device stub out failed miserably because the machine would have to be completely dismantled for this purpose. What remains is crap, because you can operate the unit so no longer. Needless to say that the warranty has expired a few weeks ago.
Said screw was exposed to any particular stress. It serves as a mounting for a Blechsieb, which in turn served as the cover of the coffee against the pressure outlet. Why do they still breaks and so inferior screws are used here, is beyond me.
