Only problem: attach the camera on the phone without obscuring testing or unintentionally trigger.
Image Quality:
The quality of images is good to very good. I myself have very little experience with photography and does not want to go too deeply into the matter here. Most of the pictures were in Automatic mode (there are really no alternative ^^) good and sharp recorded here I noticed no noise or the like. Only at night the images were very bad, because Sony has dispensed with the camera to a flash. Unfortunately, the camera can not access the internal flash of the smartphone.
Video quality:
The video resolution is with the new firmware FullHD (1920x1080). This is not comparable to the recording of the phone at the same resolution, since a much better image stabilization has been installed and the video quality is generally nothing to be desired (for me). The audio quality is adequate to good.
Operation:
Here, the main weakness of the camera. you can see the camera, if you have an NFC-enabled smartphone or tablet, very easy to connect with the device. At the first connection you land automatically in the store to install the Sony app. In the 2nd connection then the installed app opens and immediately connected. Unfortunately, this takes about 15 seconds. So to use a new snapshot in any case. also trigger the camera with the phone is very delayed. Often Stockert image transmission greatly. Even if the camera is plugged in directly on the smartphone. The push the buttons on the smart phone is very slow. On the camera, he's so fast, not afterwards comes the smartphone and the bucking resumes. Runs stable connection, the picture is, however, very liquid and has only a delay of about 0.5 sec. If you have a picture taken and you have turned on the preview function of the app, it takes a long time until you can do the next image (must be copied because the image first times on the phone). Most "snapshots" are so successful. However, there is then no control and some pictures that I wanted to see are extremely fuzzy or blurred.
Conclusion:
The camera is great fun and is always an eye-catcher. The picture quality is good. Here it competes with much more expensive compact cameras. Unfortunately, here are missing the most manual settings and the flash. The operation of the camera is very cumbersome and time consuming (compared with other cameras), what they for snapshots (and therefore my purpose) disqualified. Therefore, I returned the camera.
