Top model DSLR

The camera was bought because my wife wanted to have a DSLR. It begins just before the photograph and it makes her so much fun.
The 650D was placed on the market only few weeks ago and bring a number of new features. I myself have a Canon 5D Mark 3. That is why it is possible to test the DSLR with many of my lenses. That's why I bought it just the body.

The camera is shipped with the standard delivery. Even in the professional Topgeräten one finds no large accessory list. Image Quality and Video Quality:

In the 650D the new DIGIC 5 processor has been installed. It should provide a better picture in the form of lower noise. I can confirm that definitely. It does make a difference. The camera has many different modes for many scenes. I personally like the HDR function. It makes use of an image 3 images in different settings and sets to one together. This example darker areas are lightened in the image. It will look at panoramic pictures of always very nice. The 650D also has a Sport mode with on board. Up to 5 frames per second can be achieved with the camera. You should not be stingy to come to this value in the memory card. Because the buffer is full pretty quickly so you then have to wait a bit.
What I find here is pretty good, the new autofocus system. So you can shoot pretty safe images. The camera returns only 9 focal areas but they are all cross-type sensors. Because the success rate is definitely much higher than normal focus systems. With an STM lens could realize the full potential of the camera. According to Advertising Canon then the camera picture / video the whole time almost noiseless sharp. Unfortunately I could not try this because the lenses are not yet available.
In video mode, pictures can be recorded resolution (1980 x 1080, 1080p) up to Full HD. Unfortunately, here the videos are only available to 25fps. When fast movements unfortunately these are not sufficient and distort a bit and then jerky in motion. Because you'd have runterstellen to 720p. Thus the 50fps can be used. As mentioned above helps the touchscreen in combination with an STM lens during filming.

Edit: 25.8. Unfortunately I had to send it back on the camera. According to Canon, gave a problem with the grip. It was not quite toxic. But Canon has exchanged as soon as possible. The camera is for some time back and photograph the proceeds :)
So far we have not received any problems with the camera. Except with the handle. But that can happen. Especially if you want that every year, a new model comes out. When to also try something ?! I stand by my review.

Thanks to Gerd grass. The frame rate of 25/30 fps at 1080p and 50/60 fps at 720p is possible. You have the settings separately in the menu of PAL Change NTSC and then you can also set the increased frame rate in Video mode.
