The first impression of the notebook was very good, so I went to the installation of the operating system (Windows 8.1). Which reminds me already noticed that the fan for the size of the notebook but it was quite noisy and at irregular intervals a cracking itself was similar to that of an HDD disk. This lies to the suspicion that the fans something is wrong. Nevertheless, I continued and after what felt like an eternity all Windows were installed updates and the notebook was set ready.
But then I noticed a slight flickering of the screen when the device is restarted. This flickering got worse from start to start and developed into a regular flicker, indicating a defect of the display (or its connection cable) tactics involved or the graphics card.
After a short telephone conversation with the Amazon customer service to me a replacement unit was then sent to ...
The replacement notebook made by the fan noise and the display a better impression. Although the fan was still loud, but at least without the pops. So get back to the installation. After the second eternity that also this notebook was set up and ready for transfer to my sister in law. In a recent sighting but then a larger gap I noticed on the left side between the display and the keyboard when closed. This gap resulted from a bend in the keyboard !! ago Visually it looked as if someone successfully the bending test of the iPhone tried 6 models on the notebook.
So again called the hotline and delivery, the second replacement.
The 3rd notebook was then luckily a direct hit. The fan was quiet, and the screen and the exterior intact. Also in the third device a Samsung SSD was installed, while in the other two devices Noname plates were installed.
Technically you need to say anything to the device, the performance is good, the battery life neat and processing (the third unit) high.
However, it is not acceptable that Lenovo has such great variations in quality during production. Therefore, I forgive only three stars because it is apparently a matter of luck to get a functioning device.
