The BP620 is a BR player who makes so much fun!
Actually I wanted to "just" buy a BR player that additional functions (Ethernet, LG Apps, ...) were intended only as a nice accessory. I have the player but now tried a little longer and must honestly say I'm thrilled! The thing replaced completely diverse media player (such as Raspberry Pi with XBMC, or a WD Live) - and somehow it all works smoothly! Here you have times really feel that the software on the device * works * ...

The player will play all my media (JPEG, MP3, MKV, M2TS, ...) - it does not matter whether they come from a connected hard disk - or come from the network. When video is jumping to a specific position, the change of language tracks, ... without problems possible. You can tell not really like looking from BR or "File".

(Two kleien gripe here: JPEGs are displayed - but so far I have not seen whether one can rotate / zoom photos ... Access to media on the network works * only * via DLNA - ie on file shares can not access it This is usually. While not the end, but should be considered.)

The apps and premium services are nice additions - and it certainly has a coolness factor to look beyond the BR player Latest movie trailers. Something to watch out for services where you have to enter text must - that is with the remote control a bit cumbersome.

Via the operation of the player is also not complain size - actually quite catchy. The remote fits comfortably in your hand - the key to go a little heavy, but ultimately also provides a valent feeling.

The integration into the network's worked without problems - the wireless connection. The Wi-Fi reception is felt a bit weak - but who wants to watch movies on the network, is in any case prefer to connect via Ethernet.

The picture quality is in my eyes as one would expect.

So if a halfway reasonable BR player seeks that works well as a media player, should come entirely at his own expense with the BP620!
