Equipment
The Samsung BD-F7500 is one of the first available in Germany Blu Ray Player that supports 4K resolution. Well, not everyone has at home already have a 4K TV are eventually these devices will also be affordable but. The Samsung is also also 3D capable but which player is not nowadays. In addition, the player offers Smart TV, Samsung HUB and a Qiuck Start mode, which I however do not use. Whether the player to 0.5 or 10 seconds is ready, I do not really care less. In addition to 2 HDMI ports Samsung also offers a Wi-Fi connection, a USD-port on the front, an analogue 7.1 cinch and a digital coaxial output.
Technology
The Samsung has, in my view, a perfect 2-D image. Compared to my Philips Blu Ray picture is clear plastic, tangible and spatial. An image sharpness and color reproduction, there is also nothing to complain about. In connection with my Samsung UE40 B7000 TV BD-F7500 offers the best home theater enjoyment. Here also a trouble linking via Anynet and BDWise is possible. Anynet both devices can be controlled with a remote control. BDWise to tease out the best possible HD picture from both devices, which I can not quite confirm the latter: Mir is the picture of BDWise too bright and too soft. I think that everyone feels well otherwise. The couple with a smart phone is also possible via Screen Mirroring. The volume of the player I need to highlight times: One hears nothing! The BD-F7500 plays Blu Rays from completely silent. Only when loading the discs, you can hear the read-noise. It is also commendable that the Player Blu Rays loads within a few seconds. It may take 30 seconds for a Blu Ray is loaded and you can get started with the film. The times that loading a Blu Ray, like my Philips, took 2 or 3 minutes belong finally to the past.
Service
In order to operate the BD-F7500 must not have previously studied the manual. The clear and modern-held main menu of the player explained by short text overlays, what is behind the respective menu items and the effects of changing the relevant settings. The remote control is also clearly laid out and should not be a greater challenge. Here only the skip buttons and the buttons for quick scanning are a bit too small.
Optics / processing
The BD-F7500 is already a little gem. The device is kept quite basic but can look very sophisticated and classy with the black piano lacquer finish, the aluminum frame and on top of light blue illuminated sensor keys. At the processing there is also almost nothing to complain about. It rattles, shakes and rattles nothing on this unit. Only the cover for the USB port could sit a little tighter. The leaves take off a little too easily.
Conclusion
I did not regret buying! All previously played movies and series, the BD-F7500 played without problems, image errors or crashes (here were current titles such as The Hobbit, Life of Pi, Sons of Anarchy or Silent Hill Revelations at the start). Compared to my old Philips the films shine again in visible higher quality. Thanks to Ultra HD, the device tends to be future-proof. The high-quality and stable processing, the simple but elegant design round off the successful overall picture of the player. Best Buy!
Update 6/11/2013:
I do not want the player with more praise to shower but after I've read that some of you have problems with playback of CD's, I did not get around it, my player also with CD's to feed.
What can I say? I can not find anything really negative. The drive is silent even when the CD is playing and the sound is on my connected 5.1 system really well. The music volume is a bit high, but I can adjust my 5.1 system. In addition also comes that the music playing through all 5 boxes are what brings a pleasant surround sound with it.
