Before I further explore the negative aspects eingehe briefly two comments:
- The 'Touch-scroll' control works so far orderly, but it is and remains for me Schnick-Schnack-gimmick that nobody needs and with respect to the functionality brings no discernible advantage over sensible processed pushbuttons. Here you could save again 5-10 EUR at retail price.
- The manual is a joke (on the homepage, there is only the minimalist Quick Start Guide to download)! Normally I do not read manuals, but due to the few controls and features I still hope that I have the occasional gimmick (possibly duplicate key assignments by long keystroke?) Not yet figured out ... but maybe there are these functions easy not, then the player would be really easy to use even without instructions, but a little too sparse equipped in terms of functions (see following criticisms).
So here's the features that I miss ... it would be for the development department a matter of a few hours to implement them in future firmware versions, but I'm there times not too much hope. However, I must be fair, to say that these shortcomings are only relevant for people who manage their mp3s not tidy about ID3 tags, but rather by its own folder structures.
- Random Folder, Random subfolders: Shuffle the player is useless for me because only all mp3s of memory play, without any consideration of the folder structure. I would like to hear a 'Random Folder' function to eg only one album or the mp3s of a folder in random order.
Not quite so elementary but very dear to me would be an additional 'Random Folder + subfolders' function. I rearrange my mp3s like to genres and'd want to match your mood times for example all albums in a folder 'Reggae, Ragga, Dancehall' and another time all albums in 'rock, indie, alternative' at random to hear.
- Why is there no diverse display options In the music player, it will be only the ID3 tags 'Artist - Title' appears and kbps ?! Depending on the (lack of) care in the ID3 labeling you get then for example "Foo Fighters - 03" is displayed even though the file "Foo Fighters - Have it all.mp3" in the folder "Foo Fighters - One by One (2002)" is, so you should, for example, via a long press on any of the keys a File Info window to open (like WinAmp), the one all existing tag information along with the filename and the 'File Location' (Internal memory \ Albums \ rock, Indie, Alternative \ Foo Fighters - One by One (2002) \ Foo Fighters - Have it all.mp3) displays.
Please do not write comments á la "the need is not human", that needs every reader / reviewer in the end decide for themselves, but about other comments I am always happy, maybe I've even executing one or the other option for the solution of my Problemchen not yet figured out.
