March 2012: I have received the pot a few days ago and now used for the first time. So the design is very nice. The pot is slender and the filling opening is large enough that you can mount a tea filter with open tea. Even a lean dish brush can be used for Reingen, very good. At first I thought that there never 1,5l fit in, but I've measured it it - fits. The mechanism is also very good so far. The lid seal is screwed and with a lever operated (hand operation). When the pot is full, then there is a loud noise, but the second pouring is the past. The warming function is well. After 6 hours, still hot tea. After 8 hours, still hot tea. And now retrieved after 10 hours the last half a cup, still good warm. Am thrilled. About the life I will report later.
