I own a vicious 5.1 system and use products from Beyerdynamic (music production) and Bose (leisure headphone) and Sennheiser. Have yourself a small music studio at home and know about what I speak.
The product has been purchased for the parents to a 46 inch LED TV, the sounds absolutely lousy against the soundbar. (And yes, it also fits a 46-inch TV from Samsung on the Soundbar although Maxell specifies only up to 42 inches!) :-)
Compared to the other top brands can be found here to complain about pure nothing!
The basses are a Soundbar absolutely punchy and clean. Good subwoofers usually always means a lot of weight.
The Soundbar contrast, weighs next to nothing and still manages a respectable bass to produce (up to 40 Hz down!). Comparing times please the other sound bars with this here. You will find in your search that no other Soundbar with these flat dimensions and "without an external subwoofer" comes down to 40 Hz! For movies, Low Kick Bass at R & B / Black Music etc. just great! :-)
The mids and highs are nicely resolved.
No matter how loud you turn the soundbar. Since distorted nothing but pure nothing!
The Maxell Soundbar has no chance against a full 5.1 system with separate subwoofer schwergewichtigem, probably should be clear to everyone. But at a price around 80-90 euro there is nothing to complain about. I even go so far as to say that you can also access it without hesitation even at 120 euros.
The Maxel MXSB-252 Soundbar gets me smooth 5 Stars!
