I use this cable in the 3-meter long version to my satellite receiver Vu + Solo² to connect directly to my Samsung UE55H6470.
I previously had a HDMI 1.4 flat cable of druckerzubehoer.de which has actually served its purpose pretty neat.
But after buying the noble Samsung TV's I wanted to provide "clear conditions" in the field of cable and have me worried this cable.
The HDMI connection is well known, digital and should always give the same image in a successful handshake. That's why I let myself to the image quality of even further. However, I have a feeling that the picture quality of my VU + Solo² has won at UE55H6470 with this cable a bit of quality.
Significantly faster work definitely switching between HDMI sources. The SAT receiver is almost immediately available when I select the appropriate source at Samsung.
When choosing an HDMI cable, you should always consider the themes compatibility, future safety and quality.
The compatibility is as described above in my quite extensive environment where 100%. Ethernet over HDMI I could not even try but the CEC control or the extended color space xv Color function smoothly.
By fulfilling the HDMI 2.0 standards, this cable is also available with the imminent change to the UHD technology available, which you should not neglect. I think in 1-2 years, every new BluRay player, TV, satellite receiver and PC are equipped with this standard and then you are lucky if not an expensive new acquisition of a cable is necessary.
The high quality of the cable is for me no question. One can not daily, yes, but I have used hundreds of AV and PC cables and the cable is deleyCON in feel and perceived quality at the forefront.
The cable is impressively rich and heavy in the hand, is encased in a high quality black braid and the perfect strain relief, gold plated 24k plugs act as a unified whole. Outstanding!
Disturbing twisting or bending itself does not happen if you have the cable once just rolled out. Of course it is not as flexible as a 2mm "NoName string" but a proper installation is absolutely no problem.
Well by the massive nylon braid no usual information on the HDMI standard, Ethernet capability, etc. are printed on the cables.
That's too bad, because that's why it can happen that after some time one changes his equipment and can not recognize what standards are fulfilled by this cable.
But that is whining at a high level :-)
All in all, I can definitely recommend this cable to 100% and do not mind spending the full 5 stars.
I hope this review could assist you in your purchase decision ....
