I like to get in involved in racing games, but here a long time used to the faster cars to keep on track.
The cars of the GT classes, the prototypes etc. react to some "toxic" than in Forza or GT.
I drive without driving aids (except for automatic coupling), as you have to when accelerating, braking and so on take back strongly and then slowly rantasten to better lap times. Even minor collisions result in damage to the aerodynamics or cause the car twists to one side.
At the first race in Dubai is me in the second round went up directly the motor, when I switched to the 1st gear held the 2nd inadvertently from 5th.
This realism but I had expected from this game, and it is therefore pre-ordered (or have pre-birthday).
I would summarize it as follows:
Pro:
- Realistic physics (as far as I can see, unfortunately, am still no real race car driven)
- Large selection of lines and rolling
- A couple of unusual cars are (old Formula 1 racer, karts)
- You can select all the cars and tracks, it's not like in other games 50% of the cars DLCs -> here Forza 5 gave me the rest
- The installation was relatively fast
Cons:
- From time to stuttering
- The AI is partially ruthlessly what is not punishable by penalties
- In general, the penalties and warnings not 1A, leaving the track is eg not recognized in all cases
- Even I had the first race felt 15 times restart to land in the first third -> Although this is owed to the realism, but who does not have much experience with racing games can perhaps quickly lose interest. Here you will be thrown into the deep end a bit.
Conclusion:
Anyone with some time and is not prone to fits of rage, which I can recommend this game. It is longer with settings and tests to accommodate as the actual race, but racing fans (or those who simply are only interested in cars) here should feel comfortable.
