Positives:
++ Display (clear HD would be better, but I do not see any difference, the resolution is sufficient absolutely, the colors are very nice and thanks to the many settings also not too gaudy, the One X was as though a dream but has for the Battery eaten!)
++ Performance (who needs really more? Does it have to be a quad core? I at least place no difference to the One X, the fixed S3 or One S, only the S3 Mini was a little slower. At least enough for me of the dual-core made for quickly creating and liquid surf, and games run so very well and smoothly, otherwise jerky nothing. On the contrary, the S3 for example, I always had the feeling that there is a pause for thought needs to unlock the S4 mini is faster because in my eyes)
++ Size (4.3 inches, yet such a compact design, as Samsung has done a perfect job, it is great in the hand and can be very easy to operate even with small hands with a hand that was very important to me and has gestörrt me aufdauer the One X or the S3 as I often Surf or Chat if I go for a walk with the dog :)
++ Battery (the battery strongest I've ever had in a smartphone, despite intensive use I have in the evening 40-60%, the S3 mini, it was 20-30%, the rest was the battery is below 10% and the One X I had even between load despite power-saving feature and display brightness to a minimum, the S4 mini is keeping very long, however, and might even provide two days, even though I "not" reducing the display brightness or the power saving mode switch on, just the best!)
++ Software (Android 4.2.2 and the latest Touchwiz are just great, I like it even better than the HTC Sense, you can adjust a lot more, such as what font was not at HTC. When S3 mini lacked the possibility to the brightness to put car that now goes the S4 mini and was even useful to improve, which you can set how much levels (+ -5) the display brighter or darker shall be as the sensor would make it, just great)
++ Design (matter of taste, I like the look of geschrumpfen S4 any case and also there is a Home button that was missing in HTC always)
++ Reception (super wifi reception and also in all networks G / 3G / H / LTE very good reception, there was the S3 Mini significantly weaker)
Neutral:
o haptics (ok it's just plastic on the back, but 90% of people use anyway but a protective cover, regardless of whether plastic or aluminum, so this is for me no matter, It is also used gar nich so cheap as many still find fault with Samsung, me it's even better as aluminum because aluminum but looks very very cold in winter and the reception bother)
Negatives:
- The lack of notification light
- Price is simply much too high, but that will go in the next few months still significantly down as always with Samsung (Example S4 EIA 729, launch about 620 loud Idealo, now after almost 3 months <500) and the S3 mini was initially expensive (MSRP> 450), I got it on sale in big red electric giant get for 177, think by Christmas the S4 mini will be at 300, that would be also reasonable and fair, I would spend the zumidnest
Conclusion:
Builds Sasmung still a notification light, and the price drops to about 300 would be in my eyes the perfect smartphone!
I would buy it in any case again
