# The Start
The packaging is a compact card reader. Card reingesteckt, loaded the tool to update the firmware for Transcend for my Mac, started and everything went automatically. I just had a couple off times and reinsert the reader. After a few minutes the update was completed.
# Use
Wrapped the map in the CSL - High Speed CF Card Adapter (also ordered from Amazon and "out of the box" used) plugged in and from my EOS 40D. Turned on the camera and a little less than a minute the WiFi network appeared on my iPad. The first hurdle was therefore taken: The card was in the 40D. Then started the Transcend app (there free of charge in the App Store) and followed the installation process. A few steps and everything was set up. Why do some writing it was tricky, I can not understand.
Then the first test photo shoot that appeared in the app a few seconds later. Perfect! And RAW photos? Which appeared in the browse function of the app and can also be downloaded to the iPad.
# Range
For me, the iPad is always within 1 to 2 meters distance from the camera. This works fine. For those who require a greater range I've done a few tests. In 6 meters worked the transmission properly and efficiently. Likewise, everything worked perfectly when I went one floor up with the camera. Both floors are separated by a thick reinforced concrete ceiling. The transmission Leist Zung map thus appears to be sufficient in itself adapter (not sure, however, whether it goes just as well in another adapter).
Conclusion #
The card works perfectly and even better than expected with me. I am very satisfied and would buy me time and again.
