Unpacking:
The accessories are pretty sparse because it is next to a Quick Start Guide only the power supply in addition to the notebook itself in a box. From the outside, the unit is already making a very sophisticated look. The metallic look that can be found both inside and outside, really makes her something. Fingerprints can be seen not, which is very positive.
The keyboard is very well located, only the arrow keys are somewhat unergonomic each other.
Turning:
The first boot takes a little longer because of course the initial setup of the system. Based on my previous research, I have in the BIOS (F10) the FN key disabled in advance. This means that you have to press the FN key for special functions now. In default you can not, for example, simply press F9, but must press Fn + F9.
Despite pre-installed AMD and HP software I've uninstalled to important system apps, I had to manually the AMD Catalyst Control Center upgrade, since otherwise "Diablo 3" does not automatically play with the dedicated graphics card. It is advisable to retrofit this software from the AMD website yourself, as you will be asked for each new application, whether you want to use them to "high performance" or "energy-saving".
Terms:
When using the "internal" graphic device purring softly to itself, so you do not even listen to the built-in fan barely up. This will change when you start like in my case, Diablo 3 and play a while. Disturbing the background noise is not because you have to remember that the notebook has a lot to do and must be cooled. Playing itself it is worth, however, to use an additional notebook cooler. The hardware is considerably less hot. The heat dissipation in spite of "CoolSense", which refers to the use of even more, however, not optimal. The bottom, concrete bottom left, is quite warm. A highlight for me is that you can disable the touchpad with a double in the top left corner. So it does not slip away by mistake about it and finds his mouse no longer while gambling! :-)
Whether Facebook or Amazon, with the "fingerprint reader" as he is called by HP, you can log in with a wipe over the sensor, if one has previously authenticated once manually.
The keyboard has a pleasant pressure point and key spacing, so you can also write longer texts easily. Here you can let yourself sound for the sound of the Beats Audio system. For a laptop the sound is just awesome. From rock to hip-hop can all well enjoy loud. This notebook has combined with this system for me so far the best sound I previously could admire in a laptop of this price range.
Conclusion:
Price / performance is unbeatable, the quad-core CPU is working at the highest level and not only plays Diablo 3 liquid on maximum details in combination with the Dual-Graphics architecture.
Topp processing coupled with really successful design and power in the core. What else ...? :-)
