I needed a transition system to move my daughter from cradle to large bed (even very large, adult size bed). This barrier made me a little scared at first, it is not very high and not fixed with screws, installation is to just slip it under the mattress. If the child leans on it, so she masturbates a bit, but it holds the weight of the mattress (better so is a very heavy mattress). Everything was therefore to carefully explain how my daughter out of bed, especially without stepping over the fence but by going to the end of the bed, where there is no barrier, not fun to s' press or shake the fence. She correctly applied the instructions, never tried to step over, so there is no problem. For the rest when she sleeps with her weight and the weight of the mattress, the barrier very well play its part, it prevents it from slipping out of bed, my daughter found the impression of bars of the crib that is very familiar, and the transition to big bed so it's fine. For 1 year so no problem with this barrier. If it is only one of the round pieces that goes under the mattress broke / unglued, but it does not nempêche the use of the barrier. Now that she is three, the problem is to get rid of! If I remove the barrier, it falls out of bed at least once a night, or more, ouch!
