After the battery was empty and no longer be charged, I first ordered a spare battery and built-in (In retrospect, I must assume that that was not necessary). When the battery is still not charging, I have the connector base ordered (with battery together made me this investment 60 EUR cost).

After about a week of the base was (if I have interpreted the sender really from Hong Kong). The installation according to the instructions video on youtube is a bit fiddly (a suitable Phillips as a tool was delivered on base) and people who are farsighted, should perhaps take a magnifying glass and tweezers for help, but all in all the work was done after about 15 minutes (Tip: just remember, come the individual screws on which place - they have partially different lengths).

The new base unit and battery function again properly. Since I am always very pleased with the Asus or was, the investment has paid off in total.
